Canon 70-200f2.8L IS lens in BONDI, New South Wales for sale

Photo & Cameras

This is the business. If you have a time machine ? it is PRICELESS - read below...
This is THE lens that everyone needs. You also need it. If you didn?t know you need it, then you either have it already, or probably wouldn?t know how to use it anyway.
This is the version 1 - before the new version 2 came out. It is the f2.8, because the f4.0 is a waste of time. Ask me, I originally bought the f4.0 and sold it at a massive loss because no one wants it. If they have the f4.0, what they really wanted then ? and now more than ever - is this lens. It?s like saying, I can afford a Porsche, but I will buy a Hyundai because I really want a Hyundai. You do not. Noone ever wants a Hyundai, they want a Porsche - but not everyone can afford a Porsche. You may not be able to afford a Porsche, but you may be able to afford this lens. If you cannot afford this lens, take more photos, get better, get paid more, then someone will pay you for a project where you can afford this lens. If you think that will never happen, then you should not ever consider this lens? it is for professionals, or people who want their photographs to look professional at least!
I made too much money this financial year, so I can update to the Version 2 of this, or a Zeiss ? not sure ? my accountant will tell me next week- but I suspect V2 of this rather than the Zeiss? I do have a Zeiss (85mm f1.4). The bokeh on that with a full-sized sensor camera will make you cry, but so too does the manual focusing when you chose the Zeiss with the Nikon mount (focus is in the opposite direction on the Nikon mount)- but you need the Nikon mount so you can put it on non-Canon cameras and manually adjust the aperture right on the barrel ? but that is another discussion...
Some say the bokeh on this is better than the version 2, I say you should focus more, and that they are talking too much. They would be better off getting out and taking more photos. A good photo should speak for itself, and you shouldn?t notice the bokeh.
This lens has always been used with a filter - either clear or POL, so there are no scratches or marks on the glass! Important when the primary reason for having a lens is that you can arrange funny shaped pieces of glass to produce a sharp image on a focal plane somewhere? I was an engineer and know how to take care of specialist technical equipment - and this is specialist piece of beautiful technical equipment - that happens to take great photographs if you point it at the right thing, adjust the camera properly and hit the button at the right time.
It takes great nude photographs too. Just tell your subject that you need to test out your new lens, and they suddenly, without explanation, start taking their clothes off. Unbelievable, but it works. I can list the number of subjects who instantly disrobed when this lens came out of the camera bag, but telling you their names is not cool?
This lens has also been used to shoot Miranda Kerr (twice!) ? but that was just behind the scenes, she had clothes on, she wont remember my face or my name, but she was still very beautiful and I wish every day was a day of shooting Miranda Kerr (she was fully clothed, charming, graceful and smart).
If they someday invent a time machine and you have this lens, you can, at greater than the speed of light, go back through time through this lens and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes view of Miranda - just as the lens saw her. That my friend would be priceless, but so is a time machine, and Einstein proved that you can't do it anyway - but I welcome any attempts...
So yes, this lens is priceless, but you can have it if you come pick it up and hand me $1700.
This does not come with a camera, but if you are shopping for this lens, you know that already.
It does have the original Canon mount that attaches to a tripod, the lens hood to make it look bigger than what it really is, and the cover it comes with when new ? which no one ever uses anyway.
